I basically live for gigs.
I definitely work to fund my gig habit and it's rather odd if a week goes by when there isn't a gig planned for me to go to. Take this week for instance, well including sunday just gone I will have been to 2 1/2 gigs - Dirty Avenues https (www.facebook.com/pages/Dirty-Avenues) , tomorrow is Page 44 in manchester (www.facebook.com/Page44official) and then on saturday it's Pulp Liverpool's opening party (the half gig- half gig/half shopping) and i'm off to see Next Stop Atlanata (facebook.com/nextstopatlanta) and Jimmy Holland (www.facebook.com/JimmyHollandUK) and a few others.
In the past year I dread to think how much money has been spent going to gigs, but it's my way of splurging, I don't go on nights out and get ridiculously drunk every weekend, so I figure why not enjoy myself with a little bit of music.
Just thought you'd like to know
Also there was a guy busking in manchester t'other day if I remember who he is i'll link him, he was brilliant, the sister was most impressed by his rendition of RJA.

For once i'm speechless
Thought i'd post a blog, don't know what to talk about really cos i've never done this before.
I suppose at first I should say how proud I am of some of the bands I am lucky enough to know, they recently won a Red Bull Bedroom Jam competition and have won the chance to play at a few festivals this year, starting with Download which they played yesterday, then they're off to Glasgow for T in the Park.
Page 44, Hill Valley High & MakeThisRelate you've done so well, the sky's the limit now :)
